CPA Accounting Senior Manager

Job Summary

To ensure high-quality client delivery across a team of CPG-focused Client Leads, the fully remote Accounting Senior Manager will manage team effectiveness, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching while overseeing a portfolio of consumer packaged goods clients.

Key responsibilities

• Coach Client Leads on solution design, client management, and delivery approaches across CPG engagements
• Conduct formal performance reviews and ongoing career development conversations with direct reports
• Balance workload across Client Leads and ensure all work meets quality standards before reaching clients

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA certification required
• 7-10 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in public accounting or outsourced accounting
• Demonstrated experience in CPG accounting, specifically in trade promotion accounting and inventory reconciliation
• Familiarity with CPG-specific platforms such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Shopify preferred
• Strong coaching and feedback skills with experience managing teams in a remote professional services environment
