Seeking a part-time Online Adjunct Faculty member for the Accounting program, the candidate will provide instruction and support in a remote environment, focusing on the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) course while engaging students through feedback and resources.
Key responsibilities
- Prioritize student engagement by responding promptly and connecting students with necessary resources
- Share expertise and recommend supplementary materials to enhance understanding of course content
- Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback to promote mastery of course outcomes
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited institution; Doctorate preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the business field
- CPA and VITA certification, including VITA Standards of Conduct, Intake Interview and Quality Review, and Advanced Tax Preparation
