CPA Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to lead a team of accounting and finance professionals and enhance financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely GAAP-compliant closings
• Research and apply technical accounting standards to complex business transactions
• Administer and optimize the use of NetSuite for financial reporting and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles in SaaS or technology companies
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite is a plus
• Familiarity with international accounting, especially Dutch/Netherlands GAAP and tax frameworks
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus
