CPA Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the accounting team, including various accounting functions and manage international accountants
• Oversee financial close, analysis, compliance, and reporting while optimizing month-end close processes
• Develop and enforce accounting policies and internal controls, providing financial guidance on technical accounting issues

Required Qualifications

• CPA with at least 8+ years of post-qualification accounting experience in a rapidly growing technology company or public accounting
• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of US GAAP and SEC Reporting; IPO experience and SOX compliance preferred
• Experience building processes and teams in a fast-growing environment
• Ability to work in a team environment, including remote and international locations
• Experience managing relationships with professional service firms, including outsourced accounting and audit providers
