CPA Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller who will manage financial reporting and accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end US month-end close and coordinate cross-functional reporting
• Apply rigorous standards to accrual methodologies and review high-risk journal entries
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and oversee audit readiness efforts

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership in general accounting or controllership
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and financial reporting processes
• Experience leading month-end close in a high-growth, public environment
• CPA required
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel proficiency
