CPA Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller (CPA) to manage daily finance operations in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Support the accounting team with reconciliations, journal entries, and documentation standards
• Oversee cash positioning and Accounts Payable functions while managing vendor relationships

Required Qualifications

• CPA certification is required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6-10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in Public Accounting or the Software/SaaS industry
• Experience with U.S. GAAP, specifically ASC 606
• Familiarity with ERP systems and SaaS billing engines
