CPA Assistant Controller

Job Summary

To support the company's growth, the full-time salaried Assistant Controller will manage core accounting operations, ensuring general ledger integrity, overseeing month-end close processes, and maintaining internal controls in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own general ledger integrity and lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycle
• Design and maintain a strong internal controls environment while overseeing daily cash management and liquidity monitoring
• Manage and develop a team of accountants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and AI-assisted workflows

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2-3 years at a Big 4 firm
• Significant experience in high-growth SaaS, fintech, or health-tech companies
• Deep hands-on experience with NetSuite and strong general ledger ownership background
• Proven team leadership and external audit experience with strong knowledge of US GAAP
