CPA Assistant Controller

Job Summary

Leading the Global GL Operations Accounting team, the full-time salaried Assistant Controller will manage the end-to-end close process across global entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Lead collaboration with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Source-to-Pay teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely resolution of intercompany issues
• Drive improvements to accounting systems and processes, including leading financial infrastructure projects and maintaining statutory financial statements

Required qualifications

• CPA (or equivalent) with 13+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4/professional services and publicly traded fintech or SaaS experience
• Minimum 4+ years of direct team management and leadership experience
• Expert-level knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance with hands-on experience in monthly book close processes
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements in a multi-entity environment
• Proficiency with large ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel
