CPA Assistant Controller

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time salaried Assistant Controller, Revenue will manage all aspects of revenue recognition for complex crypto-native transactions, ensuring compliance with ASC 606/IFRS 15 while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition processes for various crypto products, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and financial reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to operationalize revenue accounting for new product launches

Required qualifications

• 13+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years focused on revenue recognition in relevant industries
• CPA designation with expertise in applying complex accounting guidance to innovative business models
• Experience implementing and monitoring SOX-compliant internal controls over revenue cycles
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and SQL, along with data tools for reporting
• Direct people management experience and a track record of developing accounting teams
