CPA Assistant Controller

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote CPA Assistant Controller, the successful candidate will manage technical accounting, lead global audit management, and oversee month-end close processes while driving automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical accounting research and memo drafting across complex accounting standards
• Lead end-to-end global audit management and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors
• Design and implement the internal controls framework and ensure SOX readiness

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with readiness to operate at a director level
• Active CPA designation
• Experience leading audits as the primary liaison
• Hands-on technical accounting memo drafting experience across complex topics
• Experience with SOX and internal controls design
