CPA Assistant Controller, Revenue

Job Summary

Leading revenue recognition for complex crypto-native transactions, the full-time salaried Assistant Controller, Revenue will ensure compliance with ASC 606/IFRS 15, manage month-end and quarter-end close processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition for crypto-native transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, including financial reporting and variance analysis
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Legal teams to determine revenue accounting treatment for new product launches

Required qualifications

• 13+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 5+ years focused on revenue recognition within relevant industries
• CPA designation with experience interpreting complex accounting guidance
• Direct people management experience
• Hands-on experience with SOX-compliant internal controls in publicly traded companies
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and SQL
