CPA Assistant Controller, Revenue

Job Summary

Leading revenue recognition for complex crypto-native transactions, the full-time Assistant Controller, Revenue will ensure compliance with ASC 606/IFRS 15, manage month-end close processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and financial reporting
• Build and scale revenue accounting processes and internal controls to support company growth

Required qualifications

• 13+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years focused on revenue recognition in relevant industries
• CPA designation with the ability to apply complex accounting guidance to emerging business models
• Direct people management experience and a track record of developing accounting teams
• Hands-on experience with SOX-compliant internal controls over revenue cycles
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and SQL for data reporting and reconciliation
