CPA Assistant Controller, Revenue

Job Summary

Leading revenue recognition for complex crypto-native transactions, the full-time salaried Assistant Controller, Revenue will oversee compliance with ASC 606/IFRS 15, manage month-end close processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition for crypto transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and financial reporting
• Partner with various teams to determine revenue accounting treatment for new product launches

Required qualifications

• 13+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 5 years focused on revenue recognition
• CPA designation with the ability to apply complex accounting guidance in digital assets
• Experience implementing SOX-compliant internal controls at a publicly traded company
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and SQL
• Familiarity with crypto protocols and the digital asset ecosystem
