CPA Assistant Plan Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Plan Controller responsible for accounting and management reporting for health plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the functional area of brokerage and member incentives within commercial accounting
• Prepare monthly financial analyses and reports outlining the health plan's financial position
• Assist in monitoring business processes to ensure integrity in financial reports and compliance with GAAP

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree preferred
• 4+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in public accounting or the healthcare industry
• CPA preferred
• Health plan or healthcare industry experience is highly preferred
• Strong proficiency in GAAP accounting and advanced Excel skills
