CPA Associate Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Technical Accounting & M&A.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP and prepare technical accounting memos for complex transactions
• Lead accounting due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, including preparation of purchase price accounting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess accounting impacts of business initiatives and mentor junior team members

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
• CPA required
• 8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably from public accounting (Big 4 or national firm)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and hands-on experience with M&A accounting
• Proven ability to write clear technical accounting memos
