CPA Associate Vice President, Accounting

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time CPA Associate Vice President, Accounting, who will manage month-end close processes, oversee tax accounting calculations, and provide technical accounting guidance while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month-end close under tight timelines and improve internal processes while providing business insights on revenues and expenses
• Lead tax accounting calculations and collaborate with tax consultants on annual tax returns
• Oversee a team of 3, providing mentorship and guidance while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; CPA required
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 years focused on US taxes
• At least 2 years of leadership experience managing employees directly
• Experience with NetSuite and advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
• Proven ability to synthesize complex information and provide analytical recommendations
