CPA Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to lead its accounting team and scale accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize all accounting operations including inventory, accounts payable, and payroll
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Develop and implement policies and internal controls to balance growth with risk management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA required
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 years in a leadership role
• Experience in a high-growth startup is a plus
• Deep understanding of inventory accounting and revenue recognition under US GAAP
• Proficiency in various ERP systems; ERP implementation experience is a bonus
