CPA Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to lead and scale the accounting function in a high-growth, venture-backed SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the financial reporting, close processes, and ensure compliance with GAAP and ASC 606 standards
• Oversee accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger, while improving automation and scalability
• Lead annual audits, manage relationships with external auditors, and maintain effective internal controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification is required
• 8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience with a minimum of 3 years in a management role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Experience in high-growth or startup SaaS environments
