CPA Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to own and scale the accounting function as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Lead audit processes and maintain audit readiness while establishing scalable accounting policies and internal controls
• Oversee accounting for fund movements, collaborating with payments operations to enhance transaction processes

Required Qualifications

• CPA required
• 7-12 years of progressive accounting experience, including time at a Big 4 accounting firm and a high-growth company
• Experience in building and formalizing accounting processes in a scaling environment
• Deep understanding of US GAAP, particularly revenue recognition and equity compensation
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership on complex areas
