CPA Controller

Job Summary

To support a high-growth business, the full-time remote CPA Controller will build and lead an accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, audit readiness, and compliance while collaborating with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and manage the company's close process for timely and accurate reporting
• Serve as the senior technical accounting leader, overseeing accounting policies and advising on complex areas such as revenue recognition and business combinations
• Design and maintain a scalable internal control framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing external audit processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required
• 12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including senior leadership roles in complex environments
• 7+ years of experience in managing accounting teams and building scalable accounting functions
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and experience with financial reporting and internal controls
• Proven ability to lead in fast-paced, high-growth environments with increasing operational complexity
