CPA Controller

Job Summary

Owning the accounting operations function, the full-time remote CPA Controller will manage the monthly and annual close processes, drive process improvements leveraging AI, and oversee compliance with financial regulations while collaborating with various departments on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive process improvements and contribute to accounting transformation to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
• Own the monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Lead the annual financial audit and coordinate tax return preparations with independent CPA firms

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in public accounting preferred
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA certification required
• Experience managing a small team of accounting professionals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using NetSuite preferred
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI to improve accounting processes
