CPA Controller

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on CPA Controller to manage U.S. accounting operations, including financial reporting, payroll accounting, and tax compliance, in a full-time remote position while leading a small internal team and utilizing AI tools for process efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all U.S. accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Manage payroll accounting processes and oversee tax compliance activities, including coordination with external advisors
• Develop and improve accounting policies and internal controls to support scalability and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required
• Active CPA certification is required; MBA, CMA, or CGMA preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools for accounting processes
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and advanced ERP experience, preferably with NetSuite
