CPA Controller Implementation

Job Summary

Owning complex client onboarding projects, the full-time remote Controller - Implementation will manage financial oversight, develop and implement financial strategies, and lead a high-performing team while ensuring compliance and enhancing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end delivery of client onboarding projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
• Oversee financial statement quality control and enforce accounting standards across all client engagements
• Mentor and support team members, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables while identifying skill gaps

Required qualifications

• CPA required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years in a leadership role
• Experience with accounting system implementations and client onboarding
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or Intacct
