CPA Corporate Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Corporate Accounting to lead its corporate accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the corporate accounting team and oversee external accounting consultants
• Identify and resolve technical accounting issues and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Lead the preparation of accurate financial statements and collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial insights

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of corporate accounting experience
• People management experience, including performance management of accounting team members
• Deep knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements
• Proven experience with technical accounting research and application of relevant ASC standards
• Strong experience in designing and monitoring internal controls
