CPA Corporate Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing general accounting operations, the full-time Corporate Accounting Manager will manage a team, ensure compliance with GAAP, and lead financial reporting processes, including month-end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger activities, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for timely financial reporting
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional growth and team performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required; relevant experience may be considered
• CPA certification preferred
• 6-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or management roles
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including the ability to work with large data sets and use advanced functions
