CPA Corporate Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Controller to oversee accounting and financial reporting operations during a phase of hyper-growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform the month-end close process to 3-5 days and ensure accurate U.S. GAAP financial statements across multiple entities
• Prepare high-quality investor reporting packages and manage debt covenants while overseeing cash flow forecasts
• Lead the optimization of financial systems to eliminate manual bottlenecks and serve as the primary technical expert for audits

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a CPA and 5+ years as a Controller/Director in a PE-backed SaaS environment
• Early career experience in Top 10/Big 4 public accounting, with a focus on audit strongly preferred
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, particularly ASC 606, 842, and 340, with a track record of automating processes for efficient closing
• Hands-on experience with M&A integrations and managing multiple entities
• A history of mentoring teams to enhance departmental scalability and efficiency
