CPA Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting to drive accounting process transformation and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operationalize approved accounting methodologies into scalable processes and maintain compliant schedules
• Enhance documentation, improve reconciliation processes, and ensure reporting accuracy
• Lead the cleanup of legacy balances, implement structural improvements, and drive automation for efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in public accounting and high-growth industries
• CPA required; MBA or Master's in Accounting preferred
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP and experience in PE-backed or venture-backed environments
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and finance automation tools
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive process transformation
