CPA Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Reporting and Technical Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Technical Accounting, Consolidations & Reporting, and Corporate Accounting functions
• Lead the preparation of financial statements and execute quarterly and annual reporting processes
• Advise on M&A activities and collaborate with various departments on accounting impacts

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required, MBA a plus
• 10+ years of experience, with 5+ years in a Big 4 accounting firm preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SEC filing requirements, and financial reporting
• Ability to lead and influence stakeholders effectively
• Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with external auditors and senior management
