CPA Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting to oversee the organization's accounting function and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function end-to-end, including general ledger operations and month-end/year-end close
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and other applicable accounting standards
• Drive system and process optimization to enhance efficiency and automate accounting activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• CPA required (active license or equivalent)
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3-5 years in a management role
• Proven experience leading global accounting teams
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting best practices
