CPA Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Platform Accounting Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the platform/product accounting team to drive efficiency and automation
• Oversee the monthly global financial close process and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies
• Manage annual external audit preparation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant leadership experience in relevant industries
• Strong knowledge in accounting operations and experience in building and mentoring high-performing teams
• Experience with system implementation and project management in financial services or fintech
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
