CPA Director of Accounting

Job Summary

To support a growing finance department, the remote Director of Accounting will manage day-to-day finance operations, oversee accounting processes, and ensure compliance with GAAP standards while fostering strong interdepartmental relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
• Shorten the monthly close and reporting cycle while maintaining internal controls for revenue reporting and cash management
• Analyze financial data and present accurate financial reports, including budget to actual variance reporting

Required qualifications

• Degree in accounting or finance
• CPA required
• 5-7+ years of accounting experience, with international multi-currency experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in NetSuite and Excel
• Keen analytical skills with a focus on strategic data interpretation and process improvements
