CPA Director of Accounting

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time salaried CPA Director of Accounting will manage technical accounting, lead the annual audit, oversee the monthly close process, and ensure the integrity of financial records in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with a focus on accuracy and scalability
• Serve as the internal expert on US GAAP and SaaS accounting practices, ensuring compliance and leading technical assessments
• Champion the adoption of AI-enabled workflows and automation within the accounting and finance organization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in high-growth SaaS or technology companies
• Deep technical accounting knowledge with a strong understanding of US GAAP and SaaS revenue recognition
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite and modern finance technology ecosystems
• Proven ability to lead through change while maintaining operational discipline and attention to detail
