CPA Director of Accounting

Job Summary

Leading all accounting and financial reporting functions, the remote CPA Director of Accounting will manage day-to-day financial operations, oversee the Financial ERP system, and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting while developing a strong team of accountants.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management
• Lead financial reporting activities and ensure timely delivery of reports to senior leaders
• Design and manage internal controls and risk management policies within the organization

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
• Minimum of 10+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
• Experience with Workday Financials preferred, or strong experience with other financial systems
• Non-profit experience highly recommended
