Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time remote CPA Director of Accounting will manage financial reporting processes, oversee payroll, and ensure compliance with US GAAP while collaborating with outsourced teams and internal departments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical accounting assessments and collaborate with FP&A for accurate financial reporting
- Execute comprehensive payroll reviews and maintain internal controls for payroll processes
- Support annual audits and ensure compliance with sales tax and internal controls
Required qualifications
- Active CPA license with a bachelor's degree in accounting
- 10-15+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with public and private companies
- Experience in the renewable energy industry
- Strong technical accounting skills and deep understanding of US GAAP
- Experience managing offshore teams and collaborating with internal departments
