CPA Director of Accounting

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on CPA Director of Accounting in a full-time remote capacity, this role will manage the entire accounting function, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple entities while leading the transition from outsourced to in-house accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, delivering GAAP-compliant financials
• Manage intercompany transactions and entity-level reporting across the organization's MSO structure
• Lead the transition from outsourced accounting, ensuring continuity and closing documentation integrity

Required qualifications

• 8-12 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 3 years in a Controller or Accounting Manager role
• CPA or equivalent recognized certification
• Strong command of US GAAP and experience in multi-entity accounting
• Proven experience in establishing and managing an accounting function
• Deep expertise in QuickBooks Online, with experience in enterprise-scale ERP systems preferred
