CPA Director of Accounting

Job Summary

Leading the accounting function for all U.S. entities, the full-time CPA Director of Accounting will manage month-end close processes, oversee tax accounting, and provide technical guidance on complex accounting issues while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month-end close, improve internal processes, and provide business insights on revenues, expenses, and KPIs
• Lead tax accounting calculations and work with tax consultants on annual tax returns
• Oversee system implementation projects and manage a team of three while ensuring compliance with GAAP

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; CPA required
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 years with U.S. taxes
• At least 2 years of leadership experience managing employees
• Experience with NetSuite and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide recommendations
