CPA Director of Accounting Operations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting Operations to lead the transformation of accounting processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the monthly accounting close process for accurate financial reporting
• Oversee general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and journal entries
• Develop scalable policies and coordinate with external auditors for compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required, MBA preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in a multi-entity or high-growth environment
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks
• Proven success in leading accounting process improvements and system implementations
• Experience managing U.S.-based employees and overseas contractors preferred
