CPA Director of Accounting Operations

Job Summary

Leading the accounting operations for a health system, the remote full-time CPA Director of Accounting Operations will manage month-end close processes, ensure the integrity of financial data, and oversee accounting for affiliate entities while maintaining compliance with GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial data
• Oversee end-to-end accounting for affiliate and foundation entities, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting
• Drive process improvements and system optimization to enhance automation and data integrity

Required qualifications

• At least 10 years in accounting and financial reporting, with a mix of public accounting and industry experience
• At least 3 years in non-profit or foundation accounting, including investment accounting
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
• Experience in healthcare accounting preferred
