CPA Director of Corporate Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Corporate Accounting, responsible for complex accounting areas and financial reporting integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Controller and CFO to address complex accounting issues and evaluate new business activities
• Oversee loan accounting and servicing operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, enhancing efficiency and audit readiness

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• CPA required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in mortgage or financial services
• Demonstrated experience with technical accounting research and ASC interpretation
• Direct experience with mortgage servicing accounting and construction/OTC loan accounting preferred
