CPA Director of Loan Accounting

Job Summary

Overseeing the accounting and financial reporting of loan transactions, the full-time remote CPA Director of Loan Accounting will manage a team, ensure compliance with GAAP, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of accountants, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Oversee monthly variance analyses and communicate key financial trends to management and stakeholders
• Direct the preparation and review of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and entity-level financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation (active or inactive)
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility
• 3 years of people management experience
• 2 years of public accounting experience
