CPA Director of Revenue Accounting

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end revenue recognition process, the full-time remote CPA Director of Revenue Accounting will design automated solutions in NetSuite, manage partner invoicing cycles, and ensure compliance with ASC 606 while collaborating with various teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated invoicing and revenue accounting cycles in NetSuite
• Oversee the full invoicing cycle for all partner arrangements, ensuring accurate revenue recognition
• Serve as the primary Finance contact for external partners regarding dispute resolution and contract interpretation

Required qualifications

• CPA designation with 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in revenue recognition
• Advanced SQL skills for data reconciliation and validation
• In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 and experience drafting technical accounting memos
• Ability to interpret commercial contracts and identify accounting implications
• Experience managing collections and external partner relationships
