CPA Director of Revenue Accounting

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end revenue recognition process, the full-time remote CPA Director of Revenue Accounting will design automated invoicing cycles in NetSuite, manage complex deal structures, and serve as the primary Finance contact for partner arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated invoicing and revenue accounting cycles in NetSuite
• Interpret complex deal structures and ensure accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Oversee the full invoicing cycle and maintain the accounts receivable subledger

Required qualifications

• CPA designation is mandatory
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, specifically in revenue recognition
• Advanced SQL skills for data reconciliation and validation
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and experience drafting technical accounting memos
• Ability to read and interpret commercial contracts for accounting implications
