CPA Director of Revenue Accounting

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing Fintech company, the full-time salaried CPA Director of Revenue Accounting will manage daily revenue accounting operations, oversee the revenue close cycle, and lead accounts receivable operations while driving automation and system optimization in a remote-eligible role.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage daily revenue accounting operations, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 across all product lines
• Own the end-to-end revenue close cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Lead accounts receivable operations, including reconciliations and accurate recording of customer receivables

Required qualifications:

• Active CPA certification with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in operational revenue accounting at a public company
• Hands-on experience with multiple revenue streams such as SaaS, transaction-based fees, and rewards
• Strong command of ASC 606, ASC 310, and ASC 326 in an operational context
• Experience managing high-volume transactional data and collaborating with engineering or systems teams
• Proven track record as the primary operational contact for external auditors and managing revenue-related SOX controls
