CPA Director of Tax

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal CPA, Director of Tax (US - Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strong client relationships and uphold quality control standards for client deliverables
• Lead and mentor the tax team, including a senior tax manager and 3 tax accountants
• Prepare and review personal and corporate tax planning documents and tax returns

Required Qualifications

• CPA with 8+ years of experience in public accounting
• Experience in client-facing relationships with a focus on understanding client businesses
• Proficiency in at least one cloud-based accounting platform and major tax preparation software
• Experience with project management or practice management tools
• Strong understanding of accounting rules, regulations, and guidelines
