CPA Director of Tax

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal CPA, Director of Tax (US - Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strong client relationships and uphold quality control standards for client deliverables
• Lead and mentor the tax team, preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and respond to client tax notices and inquiries

Required Qualifications

• CPA certification with 8+ years of experience, primarily in public accounting
• Experience in client-facing relationships and understanding client businesses
• Proficiency in cloud-based accounting platforms and major tax preparation software
• Familiarity with project management or task management tools
• Strong understanding of accounting rules, regulations, and guidelines
