A company is looking for a Director, Technical Accounting to lead their technical accounting efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting work under US GAAP and statutory reporting, collaborating with the Tax Team
• Create and oversee accounting policies, ensuring compliance with new accounting pronouncements
• Work with external auditors and review financial disclosures related to accounting policies

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience
• Certified Public Accountant licensure (CPA)
• 2+ years of experience with US-based insurance companies
• 2+ years of practical experience in financial reporting
