CPA Director of Technical Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Technical Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting for business combinations and manage goodwill impairment assessments
• Prepare accounting memos for complex topics and address inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
• Serve as a senior leader for accounting initiatives and support business unit controllers with revenue recognition

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preference for actively licensed
• 7-15 years of technical accounting experience
• Public accounting experience with Big 4 or top ten accounting firms serving public companies/SEC registrant clients
• Industry experience with healthcare providers is preferred
