CPA Director of Technical Accounting

Job Summary

Leading the technical accounting function, the full-time remote CPA Director of Technical Accounting will manage complex accounting analyses, oversee the preparation of position papers, and serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on accounting implications of strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting analysis for complex transactions, including M&A and partnerships
• Oversee the preparation and review of accounting position papers and technical memos
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting considerations and serve as the liaison with external auditors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's preferred
• CPA certification required
• 8-12+ years of accounting experience, with Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience in public company/SEC reporting and multi-currency accounting
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and proven ability to communicate complex accounting issues
