CPA Director of Technical Accounting

Job Summary

Leading the external financial reporting and technical accounting research processes, the full-time remote Director of External Reporting and Technical Accounting will ensure accurate preparation of financial statements, provide guidance on complex accounting matters, and drive finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and review of the Company's quarterly and annual external reporting package in compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Serve as a subject matter expert on complex U.S. GAAP accounting matters and implement new accounting standards
• Present technical accounting matters and reporting updates to senior leadership and external auditors

Required qualifications:

• BS degree in Accounting; CPA designation or advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of US GAAP accounting experience, including public accounting or public company industry experience
• Experience with consolidation and reporting systems, preferably Oracle and Workiva
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Experience leading the research and documentation of complex technical accounting matters
