CPA Division Controller

Job Summary

Reporting to the Group Controller, the full-time remote Division Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, manage the monthly close process, and implement best-in-class accounting software solutions while ensuring GAAP compliance and robust internal controls.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage month-end close, financial statement preparation, general ledger, reconciliation, and financial reporting
• Drive financial architecture for a two-sided platform, focusing on marketplace accounting and compliance with ASC 606
• Collaborate cross-functionally to design accounting policies for new features and manage audit relationships and tax strategies

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, preferably with a CPA and/or Big 4 background
• Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Experience managing teams with a strong sense of urgency and a bias for action
• Excellent financial analysis capabilities to support data-driven recommendations for profitability and growth
